The City of Milwaukee is updating the West Side Area Plan to reflect today’s conditions and to provide a roadmap for a bright future that supports the area’s attractive neighborhoods, unique commercial areas and many regional destinations. As a part of that effort, they’re conducting a short public survey and they want your feedback, which will help focus the priorities and recommendations in the plan. But hurry! It closes Friday, Feb. 28.
This updated Plan will become the City’s official guide for land use and development decisions in the area. The Plan’s recommendations also help prioritize improvements to transportation networks, parks and other community facilities. As part of the planning process, the Plan will include a market study to understand the economic trends affecting the area.
