The Sherman Park Community Association Inc. is excited to receive the inaugural Milwaukee County Parks Foundation “Sprouts Fund” grant, to help activate Sherman Park this summer.  The five organizations providing summer activities and programming to Sherman Park include: Program the Parks, Beckum Stapleton Little League, United Sports Club, Friends of Sherman Park and the Sherman Park Community Association.  The activities will focus on three areas: healing and health, community care, and collective joy. Programming is resident-led, family friendly, and youth and adult centered for residents in Sherman Park.  Please stay tuned for upcoming events.

Kicking off our summer, to build healthy bodies and minds and to learn new sports skills, are two six-week tennis lesson camps, one for youth 6-11 years of age, and another for middle and high school students ages 12-16. This programming will be provided by the United Sports Club and hosted by Sherman Park resident, league director and coach, Mr. Robert Rush.  Please get your children active, engaged and involved this summer!
