The recent rain barrel installation at Sherman Park Grocery Store brought media coverage to SPCA’s Greening Congregations Initiative. Over the past year, the initiative has been engaging houses of worship, small businesses and multi-family properties in the area to pursue decarbonization and green stormwater management infrastructure. The installation event, which coincided with the grocery store’s third anniversary, was covered by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
