U.S. Congresswoman Gwen Moore released a statement this week opposing Republican budget cuts that threaten care for her constituents and their children. It reads, in part:
“The Republican budget resolution prioritizes billionaires and big corporations above everyday Americans. Programs such as Medicaid, ACA premium subsidies, clean energy tax credits, Head Start and Pell grants are on the chopping block to fund Republicans’ $4.5 trillion-dollar tax giveaways to billionaires and big corporations.”
