The City of Milwaukee and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation are preparing to improve North Sherman Boulevard from West North Avenue to West Capitol Drive. The project will provide long-term improvements to the pavement, safety and operations of the North Sherman Boulevard roadway for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists. Construction has a tentative start of 2026. Meanwhile, public involvement meetings will be held at various milestones and will be announced directly to the public.
