Normally, City of Milwaukee residents are allowed to rake their leaves into the street from October 1 through November 15. However, the 2023 leaf rake-out deadline has been extended until Sunday, November 26. According to the City, residents should rake their leaves into the curb lane for collection, to be composted to make a rich soil additive. Leaves raked out after the deadline will not be collected. So get raking!
