The State of Wisconsin is providing up to $40,000 in financial assistance for homeowners, to help prevent foreclosure due to pandemic-related financial burdens. It covers:

  • delinquent mortgage payments
  • delinquent property taxes
  • delinquent utilities

The program is available for individuals and families living in Wisconsin with overdue housing-related bills, both with and without a mortgage, who meet income and other eligibility requirements, and have experienced a qualified economic hardship since January 21, 2020. However, the funds are limited, and once they’re gone, the State is unlikely to renew the program. So act now to see if you qualify!
