The Boys & Girls Clubs follow a proven model for success. Research shows that kids and teens who have an optimal experience at a Boys & Girls Club are more likely to have positive self-esteem, be engaged in school and learning, and volunteer in their communities. The youth development professionals provide young people with safe spaces, deeply impactful programs and key resources to help them achieve academic success, make healthy life choices and reach their full potential. Fortunately, we’re blessed to have our own, the Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club, doing this good work in the heart of Sherman Park.
