It’s easy to help keep Sherman Park eco-friendly. Just adopt your nearest storm drain (otherwise called a sewer drain) and keep it clean and clear throughout the year.

This is important because leaves become trapped at drain sites and decompose, and this nutrient-rich waste is swept into the drains during rainstorms. From there it enters our lakes and rivers and feeds the algae, which become huge “algal blooms” that reduce the amount of oxygen in the system, endangering underwater life.
