We recently received this note from our friends at the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District:
MMSD’s Roosevelt Sewer Improvement Project will be completed at the end of September. The remaining work includes restoring the roadways and sidewalks impacted by construction, reinstalling lighting and traffic signals to their permanent locations, and removing all mechanical equipment. All traffic controls are expected to be removed by the end of September, and traffic will return to its regular pattern.
MMSD wants to thank the residents, school communities, churches, and businesses for their support and patience during the construction.
We also want to thank the Sherman Perk Coffee Shop, Sherman Park Community Association, and Sherman Park Grocery for their assistance with the project’s outreach efforts.
Thanks for the update and the hard work, MMSD!
