This week, the U.S. Green Building Council will recognize Ifeoluwapo “Ife” Tolorunju, Sustainability Specialist at the Sherman Park Community Association, with its U.S. Local Leadership Award for Individual Excellence in Wisconsin. This award recognizes innovative leaders across the country for their work in environmental sustainability.
Ife is proud of the sustainability work he’s doing and passionate about serving under-resourced communities. He will be recognized during the ADAPT: Regional Conference, which will be held in Denver, CO, May 12-13. In addition, the Wisconsin chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council plans to recognize its Local Leadership Award recipients at a future event back here in the state.
