We continue to make progress with our door canvassing. We’re almost at 50%. Many thanks to our canvassers who have been reaching out to residents. We have registered voters, checked their voting status and are now checking on their voting method with an emphasis on early voting.
The early voting has been a wonderful sight! People have come out in significant numbers on the first day of early voting. The response is thrilling. The efforts of SPCA and other organizations have had an impact on our Milwaukee community.
We attended the Party at the Polls on the first day of early voting. It was hosted by Working Families at the Mitchell Street Art Center. There was food, fun and music. Residents were accompanied by organizers to the Mitchell Street Library down the street for early voting. Approximately 60 people attended.
Sound Truck
SPCA is planning to drive a sound truck through the neighborhood on the last few days of early voting and on election day. It’s another way to get people excited and engaged in the voting process. More details to come soon!
