The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works continues to make improvements to West Burleigh Street from North Sherman Boulevard to North 20th Street. The project is part of the Safe Routes to Transit program and is focused on making the street safer, more comfortable and more accessible for people walking and taking the bus.
The sewer relay projects on West Burleigh Street are complete and the high impact paving work on the street has been scheduled. During the milling and paving operations, the street will be closed to all traffic while crews are working, approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Download the flyer below for the full schedule of paving operations from Thursday, October 2, through Wednesday, October 15.
