The businesses on Center, from 29th to 60th Street, will celebrate Shop Center Street by opening their doors for individuals who want to see what they’re all about. In the morning, there will be a community cleanup and youth engagement event at 32nd and Center. There will be a small business roll call at 1:00 pm on 51st and Center, to recognize those doing business in the community. Then, at 5:00 pm, there will be a Cease Fire “Put Down the Guns” rally at the Center Street Nail Tech Academy, 3819 W. Center Street, and an adult business mixer at Charquise Boutique Hall, 3914 W. Center Street, starting at 6:00 pm.
