During the Annual Housing Survey, well-maintained homes that are standouts on their respective blocks are identified and submitted to our Housing Committee.  In December, the committee publicly recognizes these homes and homeowners at a special gathering.

Our Annual Meeting is an opportunity for Sherman Park residents to hear an annual summary of our organization’s work,  to join the organization or renew membership dues, to elect Board Members and enjoy fellowship with other residents. Guest presenters and elected officials are often present, and are given an opportunity to provide information to residents about areas of interest.

SPCA has adopted a voting site at the Mary Ryan Boys & Girls Club. Trained volunteers from the organization staff the site during primaries and elections as Election Inspectors who act as greeters, issue ballots and register new voters.
