A community meeting will be held on July 18 for residents with owner occupied properties in the Roosevelt Grove neighborhood. There they will learn about two home improvement programs that are available to owner-occupants: a curb appeal grant of up to $1,500 and a home rehabilitation loan of up to $40,000. Both are administered by Sherman Park’s Targeted Investment Neighborhood #4. The Roosevelt Grove neighborhood is bordered by 35th Street on the east, Sherman Boulevard on the west, Keefe Avenue on the south, and Capitol Drive on the north. This meeting is scheduled for July 18, not July 11 as reported elsewhere.
