The Norwood Neighborhood is starting preparations for the annual neighborhood party, the group’s biggest event of the year. Bring a chair, and enjoy live music and outdoor games for all ages. Food will be available at $1 per plate for everyone over the age of 12. Kids under the age of 12 will eat for free. Please bring a dish to pass, if you wish. Tents and tables will be available for people to sit down and enjoy the food.
The neighborhood’s alderperson has been invited, as well as guests from MPD, Safe & Sound and other organizations. The Norwood Neighborhood is seeking volunteers to help with setup and take down for the event. They will also gratefully accept financial donations to the neighborhood fund, so they can continue presenting this event each year.
The organizers add, “Please come, even if you can stop by for a short period. We would love to see you!”
