Speak Out on a Dirty, Expensive Power Plant

Loading Events

The Sherman Park ECO team is calling on all neighbors who are concerned about the environment to express your opposition to a proposed gas facility at the Oak Creek Power Plant. According to a study by the Evergreen Collaborative, the proposal shuns low-cost, cleaner and more durable renewable energy sources, and risks driving up energy bills for Wisconsin households.

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) is holding two public hearings on Tuesday, March 25, at the Oak Creek Community Center, and it’s important for Sherman Park citizens to participate. You can do so in three ways. You can attend one or both hearings in person, you can attend the afternoon hearing via Zoom, and you can file a public comment at the PSC website.
