Green Tech Station is a former brownfield in Milwaukee’s 30th Street Industrial Corridor that has been reimagined into a green infrastructure destination. It includes an outdoor classroom, a research and testing plaza, 440 new trees, a 20,000 gallon underground cistern and pump system, four bioswales to capture stormwater, a native prairie, a constructed wetland, and much more, right next door to Sherman Park.
Take a free guided tour of Green Tech Station this Saturday morning as part of the citywide Doors Open Milwaukee.
