Concern in the community about sexual assault is high after several recent incidents, so the City of Milwaukee and HIR Wellness Institute will hold a Washington Park Town Hall meeting on Monday evening, June 8. There will be safety discussions about sexual violence, including assaults involving the elderly, one of which happened recently in Sherman Park. Additionally, the Milwaukee Police Department will be on hand to provide updates, and HIR Wellness Institute will have a mobile mental health clinic on site to provide immediate support services.
Everyone is encouraged to attend, young and old.
