Some of our neighbors have started a Buy Nothing community for the six neighborhoods of Sherman Park. Buy Nothing is a local gift economy where neighbors can give anything, ask for anything and build community while doing it. Everything is free and everyone is welcome. You can join by clicking the Facebook link below, clicking “Join group” on Facebook, and answering a few questions for the organizers to review. This type of group needs a critical mass to work well, so they’re hoping to reach 100 members in the next few weeks.
